ARTIST BIO
I am a multidisciplinary artist whose body of work includes acrylic painting, digital photography, analog collage, mixed media, written word and performance. I was born on the border between the United States and Canada in Vermont. In 2009 I received a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with focuses on: Borderland Theory and Spirituality in Artistic Process and Creation from Goddard College. I went on to expand my studies focusing on: The Medicine of Art, Artist as Keeper of Ancestry and Lineage, Artist as Vessel, and Borderland Theory and Expression in Artistic Process. I received an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College in 2012. My paintings, photography, collage and mixed media works have been exhibited in both group and solo exhibitions and my work has been commissioned for public murals and private collections.
ARTIST STATEMENT
I experience creating art as an ongoing dialogue with the worlds that I inhabit and those that inhabit me. I believe that the seen and unseen worlds of the physical, imaginary, emotional, and spiritual are constantly in conversation. It is this ongoing conversation that I find magical and am most curious about and interested in. It is where my artistic creations rise out of. I think of these creations as portals and doorways into a realm or universe. It is my hope that viewers of my work feel invited into this realm and become increasingly aware of the magic and wonder that can be found within their own.
Over the years my work has expanded to embrace and include a lighter and more whimsical expression. This is especially true in my works of analog collage and mixed media. Opening myself to this ongoing exploration and allowing it to lead me in new directions has been a core experience and focus of my work since 2020.

With over 28 years of experience in organizational development and executive management with individuals, nonprofit organizations and creative institutions, I offer individualized and custom-tailored consultation and organization for the cultivation of the artistic spirit and practice, as well as administrative and business management and services. My consulting philosophy is centered on a model of collaboration and assisting each individual and/or team member in recognizing their passion, purpose and unique vision and applying those inner fires to boldly ignite their drive to accomplish their artistic and business aspirations. In 2024 my partner and I launched our new business endeavor, Wombat Tea Party which provides affordable website development, design and services for our fellow creatives.
EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS & PRESENTATIONS
I believe that one of the most essential elements of education is the ability to inspire creativity. Creativity in thought and creativity in action. Creativity is an essential aspect of being human and is characterized by the ability to perceive the world in new ways, to find hidden patterns, to make connections between seemingly unrelated phenomena, and to generate solutions. I believe that everyone is creative and has the ability to turn imaginative or original ideas into reality through some form of expression. Perhaps even more importantly I believe that It’s not just about creativity, it’s about the person you’re becoming while creating. I offer a variety of educational workshops and presentations designed to engage and inspire participants.
INTUITIVE READINGS
I am an artist and I am an intuitive. I have also come to understand that part of my purpose is assisting others along the path to their purpose. Readings are one such way that I am able to do so. A reading is a tool to help you see what factors need to be considered when making a decision and can be helpful in times of confusion and doubt, times when you are at a crossroads. They can highlight opportunities and challenges. A good reading can validate past decisions and assist in guiding you in future choices. Readings can be cathartic, clarifying and illuminating. They can also be fun! It is my hope that your reading can serve to reveal steps along your journey and the realization of your unique gifts.
