This box was created by Heather Geoffrey as part of the Medicine & Stories Collection in Boxes and Wall Hangings.
A shadow box designed from a collection of images and based around the two central female figures by the artist Erté. This shadowbox is one that marked a turning point in the way I think about the design, purpose and medium of collage. Since the completion of this work I have continued using decoupage as a medium with which I am exploring the combining of images which may separately or initially seem unrelated in the telling of stories.
