When I first saw the work of Virginia Frances Sterrett I became entranced with delicate and fantastic beauty that she created with brush and pencil. She made pictures of haunting loveliness, suggesting lands she never saw and magical realms no one ever knew except in the dreams of her childhood. I designed this box in honor of the beauty of her work.
